A newly written tomato, beef and bean sauce for the photographed family variation.

Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 800 g crushed tomatoes
- 400 g can mixed beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- 150 ml water
- Salt and pepper
- 400 g pasta
Method
- Soften onion in oil for 5 minutes, then add garlic for 30 seconds.
- Brown mince thoroughly and stir in paste, paprika and oregano.
- Add tomatoes and water and simmer for 25 minutes.
- Stir in beans and cook another 10 minutes until hot and the sauce thickens. Season.
- Serve tossed with cooked pasta and a little cooking water.
