Ingredients
- 800 g sweet potatoes
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¾ tsp salt
Method
- Heat oven to 210°C fan-forced. Line two large trays.
- Cut sweet potatoes into even 1 cm sticks and pat dry.

- Bake for 25–35 minutes, turning halfway and swapping trays, until browned at the edges and tender.
- Season with salt after cooking. Serve immediately.
Kitchen notes
Sweet potato fries are softer than deep-fried potato chips; spacing them out helps the edges crisp.
